For Honorary/Student Counsellors and Psychotherapists

All trainees must be enrolled in a HCPC, UKCP, BACP, BABCP, BPS, COSRT or NCS accredited course. We support our trainees with monthly supervision based on the number of clients they work with, low-cost therapy to meet their course requirements and we offer CPD training to upskill.

Our freelance therapists must be accredited/registered by HCPC, UKCP, BACP, BABCP, BPS, COSRT, NCS or other. We offer a supportive community, opportunities for further CPD training, expert marketing and profiling and highly competitive rates per session.

Student Placements

  • Currently all therapy is offered online which helps to keep the cost to the client low.

  • Once the paperwork and induction is complete, we aim to assign your first clients as soon as possible.

  • We ask you to work with 3 clients per week as a minumum. You will be responsible for ensuring your supervision hours meet the ratio required by your course based on your total client hours.

  • We offer trainees a ratio of 1:8 which is what the BACP requires. Any additional supervision required can be organised with your supervisor and paid for directly.

  • We ask that all therapists (honorary and accredited) have their own have your own practitioner insurance.

  • Yes, you can use your existing DBS check as long as it is still current

  • Yes. We offer therapy for students with an accredited therapist at £55 per session.

Registered/ Accredited Psychotherapists and Counsellors

  • This depends on the type of session. For individual therapy (50 mins) - £40 per session. For couples therapy (60 minutes) - £50 per session. For an assessment (50 minutes) - £40 per session

  • We ask our therapists to commit themseleves to minimum two slots per weeks. These slots run as follows:

    Slot 1: 7am-2pm

    Slot 2: 2pm-9pm

    We ask therapist

  • Currently all client sessions run online. You are able to run able to run your sessions from home or from your practise via video call ensuring you practise via the BACP ethical framework.

  • You are free to organise client sessions at times that are convenient for you and the client. As most clients would like to have therapy at the same time each week there will need to be some commitment to this.

  • We ask for clients to give 24 hours notice otherwise the session is chargeable.

  • As registered/accredited therapists you will be responsible for your professional insurance cover and supervision.
