FAQs

Therapy offers you a dedicated, confidential space to speak openly about what you’re carrying, whether that’s anxiety, low mood, relationship strain, trauma, grief, fertility challenges, parenting overwhelm or simply a sense that something isn’t quite right. At The Nest Club, the work isn’t about quick fixes, it’s about helping you make sense of your experience. As you begin to name and explore what’s happening beneath the surface, patterns become clearer. Emotions that once felt chaotic can start to feel understandable. Choices become more conscious.

For couples and families, therapy can help untangle communication, rebuild trust, and create space to hear one another differently, especially during life’s big transitions. Psychological therapy has been shown to be highly effective in treating many mental health difficulties, including anxiety and depression. Research suggests that, for many people, it can be as effective as medication, with longer-lasting benefits because it addresses underlying patterns as well as symptoms. Above all, therapy offers something steady - a safe, containing relationship in which change becomes possible.

The Nest Club is for individuals, couples and families navigating life’s transitions and the emotional impact that comes with them. We support people through fertility journeys, pregnancy, baby loss, early parenthood, relationship strain, separation and blended family life. We also work with anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, trauma, grief and feeling stuck. You don’t need a diagnosis or a referral. If something feels heavy, overwhelming or difficult to manage alone, therapy can help.

Booking is simple. You can choose a therapist and a time that works for you directly through our website or app, with appointments often available within 48 hours. There are no waiting lists and no referral required. Once booked, you’ll receive confirmation and can manage your sessions through your account.

Fees vary depending on whether you are booking individual, couples or family therapy. Individual session (50 mins) £70, Couples session (60 mins) £90 and Family session (60 mins) £120. We are transparent about pricing before you begin. There are no hidden costs and no long-term tie-ins and you decide how long you would like to continue.

One account can be used to book and manage the sessions. However, we ask both partners to be present when reviewing terms and client contract and the assessment will be carried out in the first session.

You can read each therapist’s profile on our website to get a sense of their approach and areas of specialism. If you’re unsure, you’re welcome to contact us at info@thenestclub.co.uk and we can help guide you. The first session is also a space to see whether the fit feels right. Feeling safe and understood matters.

You can log in to your account via our website or app to reschedule or cancel directly. If you cancel with at least 48 hours’ notice, your account will be credited in full to use towards a future session. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are not credited. If you would prefer a refund instead of account credit, please email info@thenestclub.co.uk and we’ll arrange this for you.

You’re welcome to email regarding scheduling or practical matters and you will find your therapist's email address in the booking confirmation you received. Therapeutic conversations are held within sessions, where there is proper time and containment.

For therapy to be effective, consistency is important and it has been proven that the therapeutic relationship itself has a significant impact on outcomes. We usually recommend working with the same therapist so that trust and understanding can develop over time. If you feel the fit isn’t right, we can support you in finding a different therapist within The Nest Club.

You can secure a regular weekly or fortnightly slot through your account on our website. There’s no minimum commitment and no long-term tie-in — therapy moves at your pace. Each session is 50 minutes (a therapeutic hour). Meeting at the same day and time each week or fortnight helps create stability and trust. Consistency allows the work to deepen, patterns to become clearer, and progress to build steadily over time. Regular sessions are linked to better outcomes, particularly when working with anxiety, depression, trauma or relationship difficulties.

All sessions take place online, allowing you to access support from anywhere. Online therapy can make it easier to fit support around work, family life and recovery periods. All you need is a private space and a stable internet connection.

All therapy sessions are confidential and trust is of paramount importance to the therapist/client relationship. We adhere strictly to the ethical framework of the BACP and each therapist will be fully versed on understanding safely and risk. As is standard in a therapy contract there might be certain circumstances where the therapist may have to consider breaking a client’s confidence for their own safety if for example there is a risk of harm to the client or another. All therapists discuss their caseload in the confidential setting of supervision.

Please check your spam or junk folder first, as automated emails can sometimes be filtered. You can also log in to your account via the website or app to check your booking details directly. Pleae note that unticking all communications boxes disables booking confirmation emails, please ensure you leave this box checked. If you’re still unsure, contact info@thenestclub.co.uk and we’ll help resolve it.

Some employers offer funding for therapy. If you think your organisation may be open to supporting your sessions, we’re happy to have that conversation and explore what might be possible. You can reach us at info@thenestclub.co.uk, and we can provide any information your employer may need.
