Couples

Counselling

A space for you both to reconnect, communicate, and navigate challenges together with expert guidance.

We help transform relationships

Every relationship has its ups and downs and the transition through fertility, pregnancy, new parenthood, or parenting challenges can put extra strain on even the strongest partnerships. Couples therapy gives you and your partner a safe, supportive space to explore what’s happening between you, improve communication, and reconnect.

Therapy can be short-term and focused on a specific issue, or open-ended to support your relationship as it evolves. Either way, it’s a chance to invest in your partnership, with guidance from an experienced therapist who understands the complexities of couple and family life.

Accessible Therapy
For Every Couple

We offer accessible, thoughtfully priced couples therapy for the moments when your relationship needs care and attention. Support shouldn’t be reserved for a crisis. We believe tending to a relationship’s emotional health is just as important as caring for physical health; preventative, steady and strengthening. Our experienced couples therapists work with you online, offering flexible appointments that fit around busy lives, so getting support feels possible, not complicated.

They are united by a belief that when relationships are supported well, it doesn’t just change two people, it strengthens families and ripples outward into everyday life.

We can now have the conversations that used to derail us, without them turning into arguments. That’s been a life-changing shift in our relationship.

Having kids changed everything between us, including intimacy. We’d just stopped talking about it. It gave us the space to be honest about it and start rebuilding
that part of our relationship

I spent a lot of time moaning about my husband to friends, but not really looking at my own part in things. It helped me step back and figure out what I actually wanted in life.

We’ve learned how to have difficult conversations without them escalating. That’s probably been the biggest shift for us.

After everything that happened, we didn’t think we’d find our way back. We were more closed off than we realised.
Now we’re rebuilding trust and it feels like

It was my first time in therapy and I was quite nervous. I felt safe and supported from the start, which made it much easier to open up easy to trust the process and keep going.

Couple Counselling FAQs

Couples counselling can help with communication difficulties, recurring arguments, loss of intimacy, trust issues, infidelity, parenting stress, fertility journeys, separation decisions and major life transitions. It can also support you if anxiety, depression, trauma or work stress are affecting the relationship. Sometimes couples come in crisis. Sometimes they come because something feels distant or stuck. Therapy offers a structured, supportive space to understand what’s happening beneath the surface and to find a way forward.

Couples sessions are attended together, as the work focuses on the dynamic between you. If you are in different locations then attending together via separate video call is fine and works well.

No. The therapist’s role is not to judge or decide who is right. Their role is to understand the relationship system — the patterns, wounds and misunderstandings that keep you stuck. Couples therapy works best when both partners feel heard and respected. The aim is balance, not blame.

It’s very common for couples to arrive in different places emotionally and to want different things or very often unsure of what they want. Therapy can provide a calm space to explore uncertainty honestly and respectfully. Sometimes the work strengthens the relationship. Sometimes it helps couples separate more thoughtfully. The goal isn’t to force an outcome — it’s to support clarity.

The transition to parenthood can place enormous strain on even the strongest relationships. Sleep deprivation, loss of intimacy, identity shifts, unequal workloads and unresolved tensions often surface during this time. Couples therapy can help you reconnect, communicate more effectively and navigate the practical and emotional adjustments of early parenthood.

That’s completely understandable. Starting therapy can feel exposing, especially if there’s conflict or hurt involved. The first session is paced carefully. There’s no pressure to share everything immediately. Often, simply having a structured, supported conversation can feel relieving. Therapy moves at a pace that feels manageable for both of you.
