The postnatal period can be a time of significant adjustment, both physically and emotionally. At The Nest Club, we offer specialist counselling for those navigating the weeks and months after having a baby. This might include postnatal depression, anxiety, birth trauma, identity changes, relationship shifts, or simply the sense that things feel different in ways you didn’t expect. You may be coping with exhaustion, heightened responsibility, or a constant sense of being needed. At the same time, there may be feelings that are harder to name; low mood, irritability, anxiety, disconnection, or a sense of not quite feeling like yourself. For some, these experiences are immediate. For others, they build gradually over time. There can be love for your baby alongside difficulty in adjusting to this new reality. With the right support, it becomes possible to make sense of what you’re experiencing and feel more steady within it.
